The annual D&AD Awards are recognised worldwide as the standard for creative excellence. Awarded across 25 disciplines, such as Graphic Design, Digital Design and Writing for Advertising,
- Yellow Pencils are awarded for exceptional creative excellence in their discipline
- Black Pencils are extremely rare, and award those pieces of truly ground-breaking work (sometimes none are awarded)
