State of Emergency is seeking two new trustees to join the Board and help lead us into the next stage of development.
We are specifically looking for expertise in organisational development, law, finance and fund-raising. We particularly welcome Black and mixed heritage applicants.
State of Emergency is a performance and production company, committed to the support and development of Black choreographers and their work. Our productions tour nationally and internationally. Ongoing projects include the Black Dancers Archive (funded by HLF) and The Strategic Alliance for Black Dance.
We are a National Portfolio Organisation of the Arts Council England with guaranteed funding until 2015.
