Job: Hourly paid, part-time lecturer

To teach 2 No. 3-hour sessions (every other week, Monday 12-3pm & Weds 9-12noon) – The Weds session is a repetition of the Monday session’s material, given to a 2nd group of students.

This amounts to 12 sessions in 6 alternate weeks in Semester 1 only (i.e. between 3rd week Sept – 2nd week Dec 2012):

• Teaching week 2 (1 & 3 Oct) – graphic theory intro. & examples;
• Teaching week 4 (15 & 17 Oct) –theory 2 & examples;
• Teaching week 6 (29 & 31 Oct) –assist applying to their CVs using appropriate software packages;
• Teaching week 8 (12 & 14 Nov) –assist applying to their portfolio - sketches & A1 board layouts using approp. software;
• Teaching week 10(26 & 28 Nov) –help applying to their portfolios;
• Teaching week 12(10 & 12 Dec) –draft final presentations;

Some experience teaching/providing training in design would be desirable.
