For 14-24 year old Spoken Word Artists / Poets / Song Writers / MCs with original work they would like to perform.
Beginning September 2012 - 5 initial workshops on weekly Wednesdays, with a mini showcase at the end to celebrate your work.
Work with award-winning performance poet, playwright and former World Slam Poetry Champion Kat Francois.
Former members of Poets Platform have performed in:
- ‘Poets Platform the show’ and ‘Heartfelt’ - Theatre Royal Stratford East shows.
- ‘Under the Skin’ – Five Boroughs Festival
- 5 corporate events
Individually members have performed at the Poetry Café and the Roundhouse.
They were placed 2nd best poetry group in UK Poetry Slam Championship 2012. Just recently one of our members was awarded 3rd place in the Roundhouse Poetry Slam 2012.
