You will be an exceptionally motivated and qualified lecturer/practitioner to help us realise our ambitious developmental agendas at regional, national and international levels, possessing a strong commitment to the Colleges purpose, ethos, values and vision.

With our exciting new £4 million Contemporary Crafts building, we offer our own glass-making studio and are able to offer expert teaching in glass blowing, kiln forming, architectural process and casting. The course explores learning-through-making, with introduction to design from industry and studio practice, through to developing and refining students’ expertise and professionalism through links with established artists and industry. The crafts programme have with links with courses in Shanghai, Beijing and Pretoria.

As well as teaching, you will be involved in assessments, tutorials and contributing to the development of a progressive curriculum on the Contemporary Crafts Foundation Degree and BA Degree.
