Summer 2012 workshops 20, 21 and 22 Aug

Winging It For 13 - 16 year olds Time: 12pm – 4pm At this special ‘Winging It’ summer session you will create a short show in three days, available for your parents and friends to see on the final day. You will work closely with one of the theatre’s directors and build up your performance skills and confidence. This will be a great opportunity for anyone interest in performing arts. Come along and meet like-minded people and improve your acting skills.

Audition techniques For 17 - 24 year olds Time: 11am – 4pm This three-day course will develop your audition technique, your understanding of the audition process and your level of confidence. Former artistic director of the Theatre Royal Stratford East, Philip Hedley, will cover a variety of useful skills and techniques which will enhance your delivery. These will include Laban techniques, units and actions, poetic devices and character thought tracking.
