Job: Music shop retail apprenticeships

Armstrong Apprenticeships has partnered up with GAK to offer two new apprenticeship opportunities in GAK shops in Brighton.

One post is in the Acoustic Guitar department and the other is in the Electric & Bass Guitar department.

Duties will include face to face and telephone sales, maintaining the quality of the retail environment and demonstrations to customers. Previous sales experience of guitars, amplifiers and FX pedals would be an advantage, as is the ability to product demonstrate to a high standard. A good level of acoustic and electric guitar product knowledge with the ability & desire to constantly research and improve this knowledge.

Training will be given on all aspects of retail sales.

All applicants must be well presented, have a positive attitude and the desire to integrate into a close-knit team. Working hours are 9:00am till 5.30pm, 5 days per week (will include weekend shifts).

There is a 3 month probationary period for these posts.
