Opp: Creativity Beyond the Creative Department

‘Creative industries' - the clue is in the title. Everyone is involved in igniting, nurturing and delivering ideas. This session offers you the chance to step back and think about this thing called Creativity: what encourages it and what blocks it? How do you develop an environment in which people will take risks and the imagination can take flight?

Through exercises, games and a bit of chat you’ll explore how your creative instincts can enrich the work of others, and how to judge work in an imaginative and generous way.  You’ll also look at own collaboration style. Do you open up other people’s thinking - or might you be closing it down?  And how can you use creative expression to develop your own professional practice?
