Running a creative event

Maya organises the event, liaises with performers, finds sound equipment, and makes sure everything is going to work.

Maya Levy is an actor, singer-songwriter and pianist. She is also artistic director of the Open Arts Café evenings, where artists present original work to a supportive audience.

Managing front-of-house

Britannia Morton is Director of Visitor Services and Estates at Sadler's Wells. The department manages front-of-house, maintenance, security, health and safety, events and catering.

Producing art events

Hannah Standen is an Associate Producer for Artichoke, a creative company that stages arts spectacles and live events. She talks about working with Antony Gormley's ‘One And Other’ artwork, and how she became interested in producing art events.

Media career at The Globe

Francesca Maguire is Press and PR Manager for Shakespeare’s Globe. She is responsible for the management, design and implementation of the media and PR campaigns.

Running a festival

Rachel Stringer is Head of Content for Greenbelt Festival. She has programmed events for 21,000 people, including theatre, film, dance, youth events and workshops.
