Design students from art colleges in the north of the country have been invited to display their work at a special affordable art fair and auction.
From June 24th until July 1st, students will show their work at
Mr Thomas's Chop House in Manchester, where they will have the opportunity to sell their work and compete for best in show.
Ben Casey, founding partner of agency The Chase, told D&AD: 'Two friends of mine, Roger Ward and Bryn Butler, asked me to help them organise an annual charity art fair and auction comprising work from illustration students and possibly some professional illustrators, artists and the odd celebrity.'
Fifty per cent of all sales from the fair and from website sales will go to the North West Air Ambulance.
The website reported that there have been 160 entries submitted to the fair from eight colleges around the north of England.
They will be judged by a panel of illustrators, agents, gallery owners and designers and the top 20 pieces will be sold by auction.
