Young musicians took part in this year's
Rhythm of London Busking Underground competition at the Shoreditch Festival last week.
Claiming the title was Noemie Ducimetiere, a 22-year-old from Hackney Wick, while Husky George from Sydenham and Foxi from Acton were crowned runners up.
The scheme is part of London mayor Boris Johnson's aim to encourage young people aged 16-25 to take up music.
Ms Ducimetiere won a licence to busk on the London Underground, as well as studio time and a session at Wendyhouse Productions and performance slots at the Indigo Club 02, among other prizes.
Her win comes as last year's winner, Jamie West, released his first single, Give Me Everything You Got.
Mr Johnson commented: 'With over 32,000 performances in a year, London is the world capital for live music and this competition is about giving new musicians a real shot at success.
'I want to do everything I can to help talented young Londoners reach their potential and I hope everyone that has taken part will go onto future glory.'
