Design community organisation D&AD has announced the winners of the
Best New Blood of 2010 programme.
Judges at the New Blood event in Shoreditch, London, identified 28 young design graduates from 19 universities throughout the UK as ones to watch in the future.
The title was presented to individuals and groups of designers, with one prize going to a university course.
University College Falmouth's BA (Hons) Graphic Design won the Best Stand in Show, with one individual from the institution, Ben Cridland, winning a Best New Blood award.
In the D&AD blog, the group said: 'This year at New Blood we are all about solidarity and belief, showing our new generation of creative graduates that they do have a bright, creative and bountiful future – even in a recession.'
It comes as D&AD announces the winners of its Student Awards at a London ceremony taking place tonight (June 29th).
New Blood ended yesterday and saw students from across the country displaying their work and networking with industry professionals in the hope to secure their future career in jobs and work placements.
