Who we are
The website is maintained by an editorial team of three:
- Huw Morgan, Website Editor
- Abdi Saeed, Web Developer
- Julie Alchin, Web Developer
Our content comes from leaders, experts and practitioners, all working in the creative and cultural industries. We also signpost other websites, if they contain the best information and resources for your career.
Creative Choices has been developed by Creative & Cultural Skills, the Sector Skills Council for the creative and cultural industries; and funded by the Cultural Leadership Programme, a Government-funded investment in excellence in leadership across the creative and cultural sectors.
Why we're doing this
Creative Choices is managed by Creative & Cultural Skills, as part of our mission to enable the creative and cultural industries to achieve their economic potential through skills and training. We founded Creative Choices following a demand from employers across the creative sector for better, and more representative, information about working in the industry.
The purpose of the website is to be a resource for the creative and cultural industries, created and endorsed by the sector. Our aim is to offer clear and accessible information, advice and guidance to individuals throughout their careers.
